We have the right to assert the legitimacy of the struggle of the Palestinian people against a colonial, supremacist, racist regime, which has flouted international law for too long.

And NO this does not mean that we rejoice in the dead or that we encourage violence.

This means that we refuse to put the oppressor and the oppressed back to back.

This means that we refuse the status quo which works to the disadvantage of the Palestinians, which benefits and perpetuates the colonial expansion of the far-right Israeli state.

This means that we want respect for the dignity of the Palestinian people, that we carry with them their demand for equality.

This means that we can no longer tolerate the cowardice and hypocrisy of our governments who deny the Palestinian people the basic rights that every people on this land should have.

This means that we want respect for the rights of Palestinians to security, to self-determination, to a state, to free movement, and to the return of refugees to their lands.

This means that we will defend the struggle of the Palestinian people as others before us have defended that of the Algerian people and their FLN, the South African people and their ANC.

This means that we will not look down, no matter how much force you deploy to defend the colonial enterprise.

This means that your droppings and your spitting on us rejoice because we know that in history the defenders of freedom have often found themselves soiled.

But in the end, don't forget, they always end up putting on the white and sparkling tunic of liberation and truth.
