Dacou is a DJ, producer, and archivist - specializing in the lost and obscure hits sourced in India and the Maghreb region of North Africa. Following a stint at the University of Toronto’s music program (with a special focus in percussion and ethnomusicology), Dacou delivers an eclectic sonic selection featuring a wide range of tones and foreign melodies - as seen with his debut release ‘Habiba’ on Canadian label, Stereo Ferment.
