MEHDI BLACK WIND is a rapper who comes from Salé, a marginalized city on the outskirts of the capital, Rabat. After The Black Wind Crew, he joined in 2013 L'Bassline, a collectif that brings together rappers from different cities in Morocco. They released their first track under the title “ Keep it real “. In 2015, Mehdi started his solo career.
His rap, engaged/committed by its messages and eminently political, is part of the underground movement. He is a representative/one of the icons of the Boom bap in the North African scene.
