Paris-based, Gazale combines various electronic influences (EBM, bass, techno). Through her selecta, she seeks to create a link between her Iranian-rooted childhood and her love for electronic music.
Gazale is part of Mahalla, a platform for emerging music from the South West Asia and North Africa region.
This mixtape has been done in the midst of growing violence and uncertainty in the region. Anger, sadness and confusion collide. Still, we hope for the best.
