Witchy Hour: Cyber Witch invites Hasan Masri
Hasan Masri is an art director, DJ and producer whose work thrives on blending the old with the new. Passionate about exploring Middle Eastern sounds, he is currently working on a project that delves into the traditional wedding songs of Palestine.
Beyond music exploring, he curates and organizes various events from underground Electro/Hafla parties to large-scale Arabic music festivals in Yafa.
For this episode, his latest set is a deep dive into psychedelic music - weaving together Psy-rock, Turkish psychedelia, ambient and electro.
With a special focus on the raw, guitar-driven sounds that once shaped the genre in the Middle East, he seeks to reconnect listeners with a lost era of psychedelic expression.
